There are so many movies out there that we have loved at some point, but what happened to those movies after we stopped thinking about them? Well, they are still incredible and deserving of the love that they received. Here are some movies that everyone needs to watch or rewatch to find their love again.
“La La Land”
This was THE movie for a while. Everyone talked about the ending, the soundtrack and the Oscars mix-up. However, after a while, it just faded from the public eye. There is such beauty in this movie in so many ways. One of the big things is how the two main characters never touch but there is still such a strong chemistry between the two of them. It also shows the struggles of being an aspiring artist and the consequences of not following your heart.
“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World”
For a while, this was a must-watch for people who loved video games and comics. While it still has a very strong following, it’s not as talked about as it once was.
“Edge of Seventeen”
It’s a super relatable teen movie that should be a modern classic, but it never became as iconic as other coming-of-age movies. This movie is still one of my all-time favorites as it not only shows the struggles, but the beauty of being a teenage girl.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
While it is still loved by many, after the second movie, “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse,” people stopped talking about the first one as much. Personally, I have never been a huge fan of superhero movies, but after I watched this one, I immediately watched all the other Spider-Man movies.
“The Greatest Showman”
“The Greatest Showman” was everywhere until it suddenly wasn’t. The songs live on, but the movie itself just disappeared from conversations. But for me, “The Greatest Showman” is one of those movies I wish I could re-watch for the first time again.
All of these movies can be found on Netflix or Hulu. Add any of your suggestions in the comments below.
