Mission Statement:

The purpose of The Sting is to inform our community of upcoming events, school-related activities, and social norms and how all these affect the student body. The Sting will accomplish this by providing newsworthy and accurate information to the student population, while staff members strive for high journalistic standards and accountability. Staff reporters will work to preserve and protect the history of Azle High School and strive to tell every students’ story in an honest and fair fashion, through the usage of both traditional journalism and modern journalism mediums such as audio-visual, broadcast, and podcasts.
