Teacher Appreciation Week is this week, and I’m taking this opportunity to recognize a teacher who has been very understanding, nice and respectful. This teacher and coach is Tristan Bradshaw.
I have never been able to experience his coaching because he is a football coach for the varsity boys, though I do have peers who have him as a football coach.
“Coach Bradshaw makes it easy to listen, and he always has energy without a doubt,” sophomore Hayden Cassidy said. “He never brings the team down, and he’s never negative on the field or classroom.”
In the classroom after a bad night before on the football field, he never failed to come into the room with his energy up. He is really supportive of his students and will understand anything if you can’t turn in an assignment. He takes time to listen, even if it is fully on you for not turning in the assignment. He’s very chill and considerate on grading.
“Coach Bradshaw is a very outgoing person in the building, field and outside of school grounds,” Cassidy said. “Even when I put my head down, he goes and knocks on the desk. He always cracks a joke with me.”
No one can beat the simple words of, “If you have your phones out and take your headphones out too, please,” and the “ have a good day “ after all the presentations he does in the front of the room.
So, to sum it all up, thank you, Coach Bradshaw. You’re very appreciated in this building, and will continue to be in this school and in this city.
