When Christmas time comes around tons of places decorate and have different ways to celebrate for the holiday season. From Starbucks and Dutch Bros adding Christmas drinks to light shows in Dallas, there is tons of Christmas spirit shown throughout the season.

There are plenty of festive activities to do during the holidays. The ICE! at The Gaylord Texan is a perfect example. They show off all types of different ice sculptures in this year’s theme “Rudolf the rednosed reindeer.” They also include two ice slides. This event goes through Jan. 5.

Another great Christmas experience is driving by and looking at all the bright Christmas lights. The perfect place to do this is the lights at Interlochen. There are more than 200 house owners in this neighborhood who go all out decorating their yards with lights as an ongoing tradition. The road is guided by police and the admission to look is free. It would be great to go with your friends, family or significant other.

If you want to do Christmas shopping and ice skating the best place to go this Christmas season would be The Galleria Mall. It has many stores from high-end to trinkets that you can get as Christmas gifts. In the middle of the mall, there is an ice skating rink that you can skate on as well as different food places surrounding it. It would be a great Christmas activity.

For something a little closer to home, the Stockyards Rodeo Rink opened Nov. 18 where you can go ice skating with your friends and family. Kids can skate for $20 and adults $25, for 90-minute sessions. Coffee shops such as Starbucks and Dutch Bros also offer festive drinks which can make for a fun way to get in the holiday spirit. For example, Starbucks’ menu has drinks such as a Peppermint Mocha Espresso, Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte, Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai, and features holiday cold foams including Gingerbread, Peppermint Chocolate and Chestnut Praline. Dutch Bros offers a variety of Hazelnut Truffle drinks and Candy Cane soft tops.
