With winter and cold weather starting to hit Texas, so are the winter fashion trends around campus. People bundle up with style to keep warm throughout the day. Here are some popular winter fashion trends you can try this season.

One very popular winter shoe that is a favorite among students is Uggs. They are designed for the cold weather and snow to keep your feet warm. Sophomore Mariposa Montes gave her opinion on these winter shoes.

“I love my pair of Uggs, especially for the winter,” she said. “I see a lot of people with them around school and they always look good with winter outfits.”

Uggs are the ultimate cold-day shoe and a cute alternative to sneakers to add to your winter wardrobe.

Another staple you can’t go through the winter season without seeing is sweaters. They are comfortable for the winter and keep you bundled up on cold days. Sweaters are all around campus being worn by many and styled in tons of different ways. Sophomore Rebecca Trammell said how she felt about the sweater style.

“I think winter sweaters are very cute and stylish and could even be paired with other pieces of clothing to add more style,” she said.

Another common staple in many students’ wardrobes for the winter is sweatpants. Students wear sweatpants all throughout campus that are comfortable and essential for the cold weather.
They can be styled with many tops and layers or even just with a simple hoodie. Nathen Dyck
