Wearing his signature HeyDudes and strutting his way around campus, science teacher and assistant tennis coach Dalton Thomas Nash Barron brings a positive attitude and humor straight-outta-2016 everywhere he goes.

Even though this is Barron’s first year teaching and coaching at a high school, he and head tennis coach Connor Mason have known one another for years. In fact, they met in college at East Texas Baptist University, and now the college besties live and work together here at AHS.

Barron comes to practices and matches with a positive and light-hearted demeanor that makes him a great person to be around. He is always willing to spend time helping each and every one of his athletes.

In addition to coaching tennis, Barron teaches earth and space science as well as aquatics. He teaches all of his upperclassmen students about marine, terrestrial and extra-terrestrial ecosystems.

The passion and effort he puts into everything he does is what makes him worthy of appreciation, so on behalf of the tennis team, we thank you Coach Barron for your service.
