This year Azle high school has its first girls team for powerlifting. The first meet of the year was Wednesday, January 9th.

The boys and girls competed against Springtown and Brewer high schools. The girls team consists of Reyna Alcantar, Lanie Arnold, Kiley Boatman, Genevieve Boivin, Ashley Briggs, Chloe Cook, Bailey Curry, Emily Edwards, Alexa Guadiana, Austyn Hance, Haley Huchawski, Dylan Knoll, Debra Lester, Khelsie Martinez, Mckenna Mason, Reece McDonald, Amy Brieanne Michelle Melanie Moser, Ellington Owens, Monai Owens, Bailee Padilla, Michelle Parkison, Cassidy Pate, Madelynn Rezabeck, Sydney Smith, Madison Tamjidi, Mendy Tucker, Abbigail Walsh, and Jilleighan Boivin as the girls manager.

 Coach Street is coaching the girls’ team this year. The next powerlifting meet is Thursday, January 24th @ Saginaw 5:30 pm. They have an upcoming home meet Tuesday, February 5th.
