The Bountiful Life of Mrs. Bevan
November 4, 2019
Rachel Bevan grew up in Richardson, Texas. She moved to Azle in 2013. Bevan got married in 2011 and has two daughters, Samantha and Madeleine. She is also a girl scout leader and is, in fact, having a girl scout camp in her backyard in two weeks.
She enjoys bike rides, camping, and being outside with her family. She and her family have started their own garden in their yard, they have chickens, goats, dogs, cats, bees and some fruit trees.
To add to her love of the outdoors, in college, she was a trip leader and spent three months hiking a trail in the Yukon Territory in Canada.
She also completed 300 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail. She backpacked, mountaineered, and did some white-water canoeing.
She is actively involved in her church, she teaches church school and leads a children’s church group on Sundays. Over the summer she helped her husband with their car parts business which is located in a shopping center next to the post office in Azle. She helped to get all the tenants situated like Crazy Mango and The Shack. The car parts business keeps them both busy with hiring and getting used to new technology.
