Daytona Gravlin (sophomore) with the book ‘All This Time’

From the authors who wrote “Five Feet Apart,” Mikki Daughtry and Rachael Lippincott bring you a New York best seller: “All This Time.” In this book, the authors ask: Can you find true love after losing everything?

The story starts with Kyle and Kimberly. The perfect couple, or that’s what Kyle thought. The night of their graduation, Kimberly drops a huge secret right as the car crashes. Kyle survives with a head injury and finds out that Kim didn’t make it. He feels that no one could ever relate to what he is going through, until he meets Marley.

When Kyle and Marley’s paths cross, they start to heal each other’s wounds, their feelings growing stronger for each other. That is until he senses he is heading for another huge crash that will blow up his life right before he starts putting it back together.

One of the reasons I love this book is because of how much detail there is. It shows loss and when you feel at your lowest there is always someone there. Either going though what you are or just being there for you. Of course romance is my favorite genre so this makes me love the book even more.

“If there is any message the readers get from this book I hope it is that love can do some extraordinary things.” Rachael Lippincott said in a Q & A. The book has some positive messages focusing on healing and personal growth, along with hope to feel loved by someone.

Besides the sadness that goes on, the love story itself dragged me into reading it. After losing someone and going through that loss but then finding someone who understands what you go through is amazing. Romance is one of my favorite genres just because they always end up together and happy.

Honestly, the cover was the first thing that caught my eye, never judge a book based off its cover, but I did, because this one is beautiful. If you want a sweet tear-jerker, and a worthy heart glowing book, then this one is definitely for you.
