this writing. You may need to pay close attention to the storyline, but fans of slow-burning horror movies will leave “Smile” with a grin.

The story follows a therapist, Dr. Rose Cotter, played by Sosie Bacon, who experiences a traumatic incident with a patient. Afterward, Rose starts seeing and hearing weird things that she can’t explain, as if someone or something is smiling at her and trying to make her crack. The overwhelming terror takes over her life, so she must find a way to survive this curse and end it.

I am a huge fan of horror movies, so when I heard this was coming out, I was both excited and scared to see it. There were a lot of jump scares in the beginning and the movie’s storyline became very twisted at the end. Most parts of the movie I was on the edge of my seat and had to cover my eyes (for example, the ending), but there were some parts where I was a little bored because of just blank parts that weren’t important.

The movie was also slightly borrowed from the 2018 movie “Truth or Dare.” In that movie, whenever this spirit or curse would ask the truth or dare, the person would start to smile and talk in a deep voice.

I would recommend going to see this movie just because of the terrifying ending. Everyone is scared of something, and everyone has a cracking point. If you go see this movie, it will leave you never wanting to smile again.
