Summer is approaching fast and that means we get two whole months of free time. There are many activities that happen during the summer months that are local and don’t even cost money.

The Peach festival is located in Weatherford and is held in the town square. The Peach festival is on Saturday, July 10 from 8 AM to 4 PM. There will be booths of arts, crafts, music, and food. 2021 will mark the 36th Annual Peach Festival.

Music in the park is every Friday at 8 PM and is located at Central Park. This year marks the 10th anniversary of music in the park. Azle has made it possible for social distancing and having a safe environment for everyone to enjoy the music. Music in the park lasts from May to June.

First Monday flea market happens every month and is from 9 AM to 4 PM. First Monday is located on Santa Fe Dr, in Weatherford. The First Monday is filled with booths and vendors selling antiques, plants, crafts, pottery, etc.

These activities are completely free and worth the time to experience. So if you find yourself with nothing else to do on the days then go enjoy what the metroplex has to offer.
