The end of the year has arrived again, and with it comes the celebration of the incredible teachers we have here at our high school. Among them, free-spirited, encouraging, and full of laughter, is English teacher Sarah Milosh who teaches AP Lit, AVID 4, English 3 and Dyslexia reading.
Despite only having her as a teacher for one year, Mrs. Milosh quickly became one of my favorite teachers which doesn’t happen often for me, but with her, it was instantaneous. On the first day, when my nerves were all jumbled, Mrs. Milosh was there to help me feel welcomed and at ease in her class, and instantly, I just clicked with her. Even though I don’t speak to her a lot, I still consider her one of the best teachers I have because of her ability to communicate with her students so easily and make them feel welcome.
In addition, when it comes to the academic side of school, she always has tremendous patience with her students and understands when they need more time with assignments. I especially admire her empathy for her students because I, myself, have struggled with her class this year and Mrs. Milosh has always remained open-minded and helpful to any assignment whether it be essays or smaller assignments.
The passion and care Mrs. Milosh puts into teaching is admirable and worthy of appreciation. So with that, I thank Mrs. Milosh for helping me survive and thrive throughout my senior year.
