This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, where we are able to have a chance to show our love and appreciation for our favorite teachers. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a math teacher and my previous math teachers are the ones I will look up to and take ideas from when I’m a teacher of my own. Ms. Hampton is one of the best teachers I’ve had in a very long time.

Mrs. Hampton has taught me to keep trying, and not to give up. Even though the math problem may be tough, she shows me that I can do it. She can always tell when I’m trying my hardest and when I’m slacking off in class, so she always reminds me to get on track.

I’ve had her as a teacher for 2 years now and I wish I would be able to have her for my remaining years at school. Although I had her for a short period of time last year I’m glad I got to have the full year experience this year. I love the way she teaches and knows how to teach her students.

She is also one of the funniest teachers I have probably ever met, she almost always understands our jokes and laughs at them with us. She even cracks some jokes of her own at times. Her sense of humor helps make class much more enjoyable for all of us, and makes me excited to learn each day.

I hope that all students can have a great experience with a teacher like I have had with Mrs. Hampton, I know she’s someone I will remember when I start teaching a class of my own. I’m really going to miss her as my teacher next year.
