I recently watched “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3” and as the third movie of the Guardian of the Galaxy movie series, it takes the audience onto another adventure when they begin confronting a new cosmic threat while also facing their own personal flaws. This film continues the unwavering humor that has swept through the previous films. Director James Gunn has carefully created a story where characters always seem to have great chemistry with the amount of banter and witty exchanges while also being able to grasp concepts flawlessly.

The film continues to follow the story of Star-Lord Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), and Mantis (Pom Klementieff). The plot covers each character as they are all given a spotlight with their own personal growth arc which really allows the audience to connect with these heroes. I would define the plot to be an emotional rollercoaster as one scene is packed with hilarious jokes then the next shows Rocket’s(voiced by Bradley Cooper) hidden and heartbreaking past. The only problem I had with the film, extremely minor, would be the pacing. I felt with all the subplots it resulted in just a jumble of storyline which I found kind of confusing.

Overall, I think that “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3” delivers such an emotional yet entertaining experience that I enjoyed. The movie alludes to possibly more future adventures which I cannot wait to see. I also feel like I have a better understanding of these characters as now I have had an inside look into their backstories. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who is wondering if the film is worth watching!
