Azle High School’s 2018 Prom was held at The Decatur Civic Center on April 28. The event began at 6 p.m. and ended at 11 p.m.

“Prom is a fun thing to look forward to at the end of the school year,” Student Body President Ema Waring said.

Although students look forward to their Prom, dress code is always a large concern.

“There’s many concerns about the dress code being consistent with open-back and see-through dresses,” said Vice Principal Mrs. Mcdonnell.

Not only is dress code a controversial topic of Prom, but also the theme. This year student council decided on ‘The Enchanted Forest.’ Students reactions to the theme were mixed.

Ema Waring helped make decorations and said: “I think the theme is cool, the trees and lights went well together.”

These downfalls didn’t affect the magical night.

“I’m glad I went, I hung out with friends and got to dance with my boyfriend,” Junior Rachel Adamson said.
