Freshman who met the requirements were rewarded with a zoo field trip on April 25th.

As this trip approached, many students looked forward to this bonus of maintaining high grades and few absences throughout the semester.

“I think it will be a good experience and help us learn about habitats,” freshman Logan Creech said.

This expedition to the Fort Worth Zoo offered interesting animals and fun experiences with friends.

“My favorite part of the trip was just being out with my friends,” freshman Pedro Lorea said.

Along with the journey of the intriguing sights, a lot of information was incorporated.

“The animals were cool to look at and I learned about different habitats,” freshman Sabrina Garcia said.

During the trip, teachers talked about how the students who went showed a positive image for the school.

“The classes that went represented Azle High School in a positive manner,” English teacher Coach Vines said. “All of the students had a great time, learned a lot, and they were very excited for the opportunity.”
