Upcoming Events in the MCU: Phase Four

Marvel fans were devastated by the news that happened earlier this year, “Black Widow” solo Marvel film originally set for May 1 2020, unfortunately, to be rescheduled May 7, 2021, by Disney due to COVID- 19 pandemic. But good news! Marvel Studios TV series “WandaVision” will be debuting on Disney+ on January 15, 2021. The series will begin The Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Four, premiering January 15, 2021.

“WandaVision” is an upcoming television series, based on the Marvel Comics superheroes, a sequel on the Marvel to Avengers: Endgame, and a prequel to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. It is to be the first television series of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be streamed on Disney+ original scheduled date of December 2020.

Elizabeth Olsen playing as Wanda Maximoff or Scarlet Witch with Paul Bettany as Vision. We will see Wanda and Vision in a “1950s” setting, which suggests the series may be taking cues from the 2015 Vision comic book.

Coming up on the list for Phase Four, Marvel Studios “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” an original series scheduled to debut March 19 2021, which will be streamed on Disney+ and consists of six episodes. Unfortunately, the series was also delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, originally scheduled to be released in August 2020 and was held back until March 2021.

Starring Sebastian Stan, as Buckey Barnes, and Anthony Mackie as Falcon, picking up after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The series,  deals with Steve Rogers, or as many people call him “Captain America” gave his shield to Sam Wilson instead of Bucky, and in the end Falcon becomes the new Captain America.

As for all the Marvel Studios movies and shows that are coming to Disney+ 2021, Loki, Shang- Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings, The Eternals, Spider-Man 3, What If…?, Hawkeye, and lastly, Ms. Marvel.
