Community Caring Center

This year is a very different year for everyone. It’s more important than ever to donate this year. And if you are donating you should know the best way to make it count.

There is a 4.9 percent job loss rate nationwide because of that there is also a spike in homelessness. In Azle the main place to donate for the homeless and those going through difficult times is the Community Caring Center. Typically they would ask for money over food donations but this year their food suppliers don’t have enough food.

You can head to their webpage for a detailed list of foods they want. Drop off days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-11:30am and 4:00-6:30pm. Not only can you donate food but you can also donate your time or items for resale. They also have an amazon wish list that can be accessed through their website.

Of course, animals need help through the cold temperatures. The Azle Animal Shelter Humane Association is currently in the process of building a new shelter in Azle. They are going to need support and money to help build this new shelter.

If those two aren’t your style there’s another place in need of donations in Azle which is the Eagle Mountain Pregnancy Center. They are in need of diapers, baby supplies, formula, maternity clothes, and similar items. And all light used toys and child care items. If you are interested in donating reach out to them on their website.
