This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, where we are able to have a chance to show our love and appreciation for our favorite teachers. Coach Pruit is one of the best teachers I’ve had in a very long time as even though the math problem may be tough, she shows me that I can do it.

For example, when I was doing Texas College Bridge, I would sit by her desk and ask her to show me how to do one of the problems because it was very difficult. She also has to balance being a teacher and being a softball coach at the same time. I don’t know how she does it.

Not only is coach Pruit a full-time teacher, she is also one of the best softball coaches. All of her players love her and they talk highly of her. She can always tell when I’m trying my hardest and when I’m slacking off in class, so she always reminds me to get on track.
